Delicious Sabzi Gosht made with mutton and a blend of spinach, dill, and fenugreek leaves, cooked with aromatic spices and served with paratha or rice.

SABZI GOSHT

Ingredients

 1: mutton 1 kg

 2: spinach 1/2 kg, dill 1/2 bunch, fenugreek leaves 3 bunches (boiled & grinned)

 3: onions 2 large (grind)

 4: tomatoes 2 large (grind)

 5: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 6: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 7: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 8: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 9: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 10: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 11: yogurt 1 cup, green chilli 7 (grind it)

 12: oil 1/2 cup

 13: black pepper corn 6, cloves 4, black cardamom 2, green cardamom 4, cinnamon stick 1, cumin seeds 1 tsp

  1.  1: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic paste, cumin, cloves, black peppercorn, black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon stick and fry on high flame till changes colour.

     2: then add tomatoes, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, dry roasted cumin mix and cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     3: add the meat and cook on high flame till changes colour.

     4: add the yoghurt and green chilli mixture, mix and cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     5: now add water 2 glasses, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium till the meat is tender and oil comes to surface.

     6: then add the grouned vegetable, mix well and cook on high flame for 8 minutes.

     7: now add garam masala powder, mix well and simmer on low flame for 8 minutes.

     8: serve hot with ParathaRoti or Fried Brown Rice.
