For Cake:
1: Butter 110g (softened)
2: Coconut Oil 3 tbsp (or) cooking oil
3: cups Sugar 3/4 cup
4: Vanilla Extract 1 & 1/2 tbsp
5: Eggs 3
6: cups Flour 1 & 3/4 cup
7: Baking Powder 3 tsp
8: butter milk 1/2 (or) 1/2 cup full fat Yogurt
9: cup Milk 1/4 cup
10: Salt 1/2 tsp
11: cake tins 2 size 8 inch (greased)
For Frostong:
1: whipping cream 2 cups
2: icing sugar 6 tbsp
3: glazed cherries 15 (sliced)
4: glazed cherries 7 to garnish
5: white chocolate 1/2 cup (grated)
6: sugar 1 tbsp mixed with hot water 5 tbsp
Preheat Oven 180c, 350f, gas mark 4.
1: in a bowl add butter, oil, sugar, vanilla essences and beat till combined and gets pale in colour.
2: then add one egg at a time and beat till gets combined.
3: now add milk, butter milk and mix it with spatula.
4: sieve the plain flour, salt, baking powder.
5: add the dry mixture and mix well, with a spatula.
6: divivd the batter in two greased tins, pick the tins and hit it on the table to remove extra air bubbles.
7: bake the cakes for 30 minutes.
8: leave to cool in the tin and then remove and cool completely.
9: in a bowl add cream, icing sugar and beat till gets thick.
10: place one cake on the plat upside down, spoon on the sugar and water liquid, spread the cream, place the cherries, place the other cake, spoon the sugar liquid on it and cover the whole cake with cream.
11: place the white chocolate on the sides of the cake and top, as shown in the video.
12: pipe the cream on the cake, add some cherries.
13: serve with tea, coffee.
