For Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg (drumstick and thighs put cut on them)
2: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tsp
3: salt 1tsp
4: crushed red chilli 1 & 1/2 tsp
5: crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
6: dark soy sauce 2 tbsp
7: chilli garlic sauce 1 tbsp
For Coating:
1: plain flour 2 tbsp
2: cornflour 2 tbsp
3: plain flour 1 cup
4: cornflour 1 cup
For Dipping:
1: ice cold water
1: marinate the chicken with all ingredients under marination, mix and leave it for 1 hour.
2: now add cornflour 2 tbsp, plain flour 2 tbsp to the chicken and mix well.
3: in a bowel mix cornflour 1 cup, plain flour 1 cup.
4: in a separate bowl add ice with water.
5: heat oil for deep frying.
6: now take a piece of chicken dip it in the ice cold water and then n the plain flour mixture and keep aside (as shown in the video).
7: add the chicken pieces in the hot oil, do not change sides for first 5 minutes or the coating comes off, fry on medium flame till the chicken is tender and golden.
8: serve hot with fries, dinner rolls, ketchup.
