CHINYOTI BIRYANI

Ingredients

1: Chicken 1 kg

2: Rice 750 gm boiled half done with salt

3: Oil 3/4 cup

4: Brown onion, crushed 1/2 cup

5: Red Chili powder 1 tbsp

6: Yogurt 1 cup

7: Whole green chilies 8 to 10

8: Cloves 6

9: Green cardamom 6

10: Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

11: Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp

12: Mace powder 1/4 tsp

13: dry plums 12

14: Water 1 cup

15: Salt 1 tbsp heaped

16: garam masala powder 1 &1/2 tsp

17: Kewra water 1 tbsp

18: onion 1 large (sliced)

19: green chilli 4

20: yellow food colour 1/2 tsp

 

 

Instructions

  1. CHINYOTI BIRYANI

     

     

    1: boil rice with salt 1 tbs heaped, then stain the water and keep aside.

    2: heat oil fry the onions, cloves, green cardamom till golden brown.

    3: then add chicken and fry till changes colour on high flame.

    4: now add yogurt, red chilli powder, salt, green chilli, water 1 cup and cook till the chicken is cooked and oil comes on surface, on medium flame.

    5: then add the dry plums, cardamom powder, mace, nutmeg, garam masala powder mix well and cook on low to medium flame for 3 minutes.

    6: now top the boiled rice, food colour, kewra water, fried onions, green chilli and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes on low flame.

    7: serve hot.
