Ingredients
For Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg
2: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
3: salt 1 tsp
4: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
5: turmeric 1/2 tsp
6: chicken masala powder 2 tbsp (check the link for homemade powder)
7: yoghurt 1/2 cup
Other Ingredients For Curry:
1: oil 1/2 cup
2: onion 3 large (grind)
3: tomatoes 3 large (grind)
4: green chilli 6
5: fresh coriander handful
6: green chilli 12
7: chicken masala powder 1 tsp
Instructions

1: In a bowl, add all ingredients under marination, mix well and leave it for 1 hour or overnight.
2: Heat oil, add the onion and fry on a high flame till it changes colour.
3: Add the tomatoes, green chilli, and cook on a high flame till the oil comes to the surface.
4: Now add the marinated chicken, mix and fry it till it changes colour on high flame.
5: Then add one cup of water, wait for a boil on high flame, cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and the oil comes to the surface.
6: Add fresh coriander, green chilli, chicken masala powder mix and simmer on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
7: serve hot with naan, roti, paratha, puri paratha.
