Chicken Keema Karahi | Pakistani Recipe
Ingredients
1: oil 1/2 cup
2: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp (heaped)
3: nigella seeds 1/2 tsp (kalongi)
4: chicken mince 1 kg
5: salt 1 tsp
6: red chilli powder 1 tsp
7: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
8: coriander seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
9: tomatoes 4 large (sliced)
10: yogurt 250g
11: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
12: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
13: bullet green chilli 4 (sliced)
14: fresh coriander handful
Instructions
1: Heat oil, add ginger and garlic paste, and nigella seeds, and fry until they change colour on high flame.
2: add the mince fry on high flame till the mince changes colour.
3: then add salt, red chilli powder, cumin, coriander, and tomatoes mix well, cover and cook on medium flame till the tomatoes reduce and oil comes on the surface.
4: now add the yoghurt mix and cook on high flame till the oil separates.
5: add garam masala powder, black pepper powder, green chilli, and fresh coriander mix well.
6: Served hot with naan, roti, and paratha.
