1. 1 kg mutton mince
2. 500g onions (finely sliced)
3. 2 tbsp garlic
4. 2 & 1/2 cups water
5. 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
6. 1 tsp turmeric
7. 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
8. 1 & 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
9. 1 & 1/2 tbsp ginger
10. 4 large tomatoes (ground)
11. 3/4 cup oil
12. 4 tbsp yogurt (room temperature)
13. 1 tbsp coriander seeds (dry roasted & crushed)
14. 600g potatoes (peeled & cut into cubes)
15. 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves
16. 1 tsp garam masala powder
17. 1 tsp cumin powder
18. 1 inch ginger (julienne cut)
19. 5 green chillies (cut in half)
1. In a pressure cooker, add mince, onions, garlic, salt, and water. Mix well, lock the pressure cooker, and cook for 15 minutes. Time it from when the weight starts to move.
2. Now, add turmeric, Kashmiri powder, red chilli powder, ginger, and tomatoes. Mix and cook until the water dries on high flame.
3. Once the water dries, add oil and cook on high flame for 7 to 8 minutes.
4. Then, add yogurt and coriander seeds. Cook on high flame for 5 minutes or until the oil separates.
5. Add potatoes and cook with the mince for a few minutes.
6. Now, add 2 cups of water. Mix, cover, and cook on low to medium flame until the potatoes are tender.
7. Then, add dry fenugreek leaves, garam masala powder, cumin powder, ginger, and green chillies.
8. Serve hot with naan, roti, paratha, or rice. Enjoy your delicious Dhaba-style Aloo Keema!
