1: preheat the oven 180c, gas mark 4, 350f.
2: sieve the flour and baking powder, mix well and keep aside.
3: in a bowl add sugar, butter, strawberry essence whisk it till creamy, then add 1 egg, 1tbs flour mix and beat, carry on the same way till all the eggs are combined.
4: then add the remaining flour and beat then add the milk and mix well so that they are no lumps.
5: add the batter in the flan tin, spread evenly and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes.
6: once baked leave it to cool completely.
Filling:
1: in a pan add the strawberry juice, sugar, egg yolks, strawberry essence, corn flour, pink colour mix well.
2: place the pan on low flame and keep whisking till gets thick.
3: once gets thick remove from the flame and add the butter mix well and leave it to cool down.
4: once cools down, then beat the egg whites till gets stiff peaks.
5: add the beaten egg whites to the filling and fold well.
Garnishing:
1: cut strawberry in half
2: make the jelly( it needs to be liquidly to spoon on the flan)
Assemble The Flan Cake:
1: place the flan on a plate upside down.
2: spread the filling, place the strawberries and top it with the warm jelly it needs to be a little liquid as it will set, spoon it.
3: spray the cream around the edges.
