How To Cook Mutton Indian Style?
To Marinate The Meat:
1: mutton 1kg
2: coconut milk 300g
3: tamarind pulp 3 tbsp
4: paprika powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
5: turmeric 1 tsp
6: red chill powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
7: crushed red chilli 1 tsp
8: garam masala powder 1 tsp
9: fennel seed powder 1 tbsp
10: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
11: coriander powder 3 tsp
Other Ingredients:
1: oil 1/2
2: tomatoes 5 (grind)
3: onions 3 large (grind)
4: ginger 2 inch (Julienne cut)
5: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp
6: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
7: bullet green chill 5 (cut in half)
8: ginger 1 inch (Julienne cut)
9: fresh coriander hand full
1: marinate the meat with all ingredients under marination, mix well and leave it for 1 hour.
2: heat oil add cumin seeds, ginger, onion, ginger and garlic paste fry on high flame till gets golden.
3: now add the marinated meat mix, cook on high flame for 6 to 7 minutes.
4: then add the tomatoes mix and cook on high flame for further 4 to 5 minutes.
5: add water 1 & 1/2 glass mx, cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender and oil separates.
6: once cooked add ginger, green chilli, coriander mix.
7: serve hot with rice, roti, naan.
