for making kofta:
1: mutton mince 1/2kg
2: onion 1 large & green chilli 4 (grind to a paste)
3: dry roasted gram flour 1tsp
4: fried onions 2tbs
5: cashew nuts 8 (grind it)
6: nutmeg 1/4tsp
7: mace 1/4tsp
8: salt 1tsp
9: red chilli powder 1tsp
10: cumin seeds 1tsp (dry roasted and crushed)
11: garam masala powder 1/2tsp
12: fresh coriander handful
to make curry:
1: onion 2 large(grind to a paste)
2: thick greek yogurt 1 cup
3: ginger & garlic paste 1tbs
4: coriander powder 1tbs
5: cumin powder 1tsp
6: turmeric powder 1/2tsp
7: salt 1tsp
8: red chilli powder 1tsp
9: garam masala powder 1/2tsp
10: almonds 8(skin off & fried)
11: green chilli 3
12: boiled eggs for garnishing 5
13: fresh coriander handful
14: oil 1 cup
to make kofta:
1: mix all the ingredients under kofta with the mince mix well, and make balls keep aside.
2: heat oil add grinned onions, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till gets golden.
3: then add yogurt, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala powder mix and cook on high flame for 2 minutes.
4: now add water 3 to 4 cups, wait for a boil on high flame.
5: add the balls and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame for 8 to 12 minutes.
6: then add fresh coriander, green chilli mix.
7: garnish it with boiled eggs, fried almonds.
8: serve hot.
NOTE: this dish has a thick curry but can also be served as a thin curry as well, depending on your choice.
