
BUTTERMILK CHICKEN
Ingredients
Marination:
1: chicken 8 pieces
2: buttermilk 1 cup (check the link in the video)
3: black pepper powder 2tsp
4: salt 1&1/2tsp
5: Worcestershire sauce 2tbs
6: hot sauces 1tbs
7: bbq sauce 2tbs
8: coke 1/2 cup
Batter:
1: milk 1 to 1&1/2 cup
2: plain flour 1 cup
3: corn flour 3tbs
4: eggs 1
5: oil 4tbs
6: baking powder 1 tsp
7: red chilli powder 1tsp
8: oregano 1tsp
9: black pepper powder 1tsp
10: garlic powder 1tsp
11: salt 1tsp
12: oil for deep frying
Instructions
- 1: marinate chicken pieces with all the ingredients under marination, mix well cover and keep aside for 2 to 3 hours. - 2: make the batter by mixing all the ingredients under the batter. - 3: heat oil for frying. - 4: drain the marination of the chicken. - 5: take each piece of chicken dip it in the batter and fry till cooked completely and golden on medium flame. - 6: once fried keep the chicken on a paper towel to remove extra oil. - 7: Served hot with fries and coleslaw.
