BIRYANI MASALA POWDER

Ingredients

1: turmeric 1 tsp

2: cloves 12 pieces

3: nutmeg 1/2 tsp 

4: mace 1/2 tsp

5: dried plums 15 pieces

6: red chilli powder 1 tbsp

7: green cardamom 10 pieces

8: coriander powder 4 tbsp

9: salt 1 tbsp

10: black peppercorns 12 pieces

11: degi mirch 4 tbsp

Whole Spices to Grind:

1: cinnamon sticks 2 large pieces

2: white cumin seeds 2 tbsp

3: green cardamom 15 pieces

4: star anise 5 pieces

5: black cumin seeds 1 tbsp

6: black peppercorns 1 tbsp

7: cloves 1/2 tbsp

8: bay leaves 4

Instructions

  1. BIRYANI MASALA POWDER

    1: add all the whole spices and grind to make powder.

    2: then add the ground powder to the powdered spices and mix well.
     
    3: store in airtight jars.
     

Note

for 1 kg meat or chicken add 1 1/2tbs of this masala and add more salt and red chilli if required hot masala.
