For the filling:
- 500g potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 tsp chat masala
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp carom seeds
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 & 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- Handful of coriander leaves
Other ingredients:
- Oil, a few tablespoons
- Grated cheese
- 1 egg
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F, gas mark 4).
2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the filling until well combined.
3. Defrost the parathas.
4. Preheat the oven.
5. Add the filling onto each paratha, fold, and seal the edges.
6. Beat the egg.
7. Place the stuffed parathas on a baking tray and brush with beaten egg.
8. Bake in the preheated oven until crisp and golden on both sides, about 20 to 25 minutes.
9. Heat a flat pan, grease lightly, and cook the parathas on both sides until golden and crisp.
10. Serve hot with pickle, raita, and enjoy!
