1/2 kg fish pieces preferably surmai
1 medium onion chopped
5 green chillies
2 tbsp yogurt
1 large can grounded spinach
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp haldi
1 ts salt
1 tbsp dry methi
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tbs methi
1/2 oil
FOR MARINATION :
lemon juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 ts salt
1/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp dry methi
1/2 tsp powdered cumin
Wash the fish , pat dry then mix it with the marination and keep aside .
Then heat oil and put the marinated fish and fry it till cooked then take out the fish from the pan, and keep aside.
Then in the same oil fry the chopped onions till soft then add ginger & garlic paste and saute.
Saute till the colour changes ,then add the dry spices except garam masala and yogurt.
Now add the spinach and 1/2 cup of water and cook till the oil starts separating.
Now add the fish and green chillies whole, garam masala and methi . And cover the pan and let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes .
Serve with chapattis .
