- 1 cup sausage, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, deseeded and chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) or gas mark 4.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well until thoroughly combined.
3. Line a 9 1/2-inch cake tin with baking paper and pour the mixture into it.
4. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes or until the mixture is set, golden, and dry.
5. To check if it's done, insert a toothpick or knife into the center; it should come out dry.
6. Sprinkle additional cheese on top and bake until the cheese melts.
7. Allow the quiche to cool slightly before cutting.
8. Serve with salad, drinks, and enjoy!
