First Step:
1: vermicelli 400g (crushed)
2: salted butter 100g (melted)
3: powder sugar 1/3 cup (heaped)
4: milk powder 3 tbsp
Second Step:
1: milk 1 cup
2: custard powder 7 tbsp
3: milk powder 1/2 cup
4: vanilla essence 2 tsp
5: milk 1 & 1/2 litre
6: sugar 1/2 cup (or) to you taste
7: almonds 25 to 30 (crush)
1: in a bowl add vermicelli, butter mix well.
2: add powder sugar, milk powder and mix well.
3: now place the vermicelli mixture in a pot and roast it on medium flame for 5 minutes, then keep aside.
4: take a serving dish and add half mixture of the vermicelli and press down.
5: in a bowl add milk, custard powder, milk powder, vanilla essences and mix well so they are no lumps.
6: in a large pot add milk and wait for a boil and then add sugar and cook till the sugar dissolves.
7: add crushed almonds and pour the custard mixture slowly and keep stirring so they are no lumps on medium flame till gets thick.
8: now transfer half of the custard mixture while hot on the vermicelli then layer it with the remaining vermicelli than custard.
9: garnish it with nuts and remaining vermicelli.
10: serve hot, warm or cold.
