For Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg
2: thick greek yogurt 1/2 cup
3: salt 1/2 tsp
4: lemon juice 2 tbsp
For Curry:
1: onions 2 large (grind)
2: tomatoes 3 medium (grind)
3: milk 1/2 cup
4: cream 1/2 cup
5: red chilli powder 1 tsp
6: corainder powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
7: salt 1 tsp
8: chaat masala 1/2 tsp
9: cumin seeds 2 tsp
10: karahi masala 1 & 1/2 tsp
11: green chilli 4 (sliced)
12: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
13: oil 1/2 cup
14: fenugreek leaves 1 & 1/2 tsp
15: fresh coriander 3 tbsp
1: marinate chicken, cover and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic and fry on high flame till changes colour.
3: add the tomatoes and cook till the oil comes on surface, on high flame.
4: then add salt, cumin seeds, karahi masala, chaat masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder mix well add milk, cream and cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface.
5: now add the marinated chicken, water 1/2 cup mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on surface.
6: add fenugreek leaves, green chilli, fresh corainder mix and simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.
7: serve hot with naan, roti.
