Ingerdients:
1: lauki 1 kg (bottle gourd peeled and grated in water or it will change colour as it has iron)
2: khoya 500g(check the link on the
video)
3: sweetened condensed milk 385g can
4: desiccated coconut 1/2 cup
5: sugar 1/2 cup
6: milk 1/2 litre
7: pistachios 10 sliced
8: almonds 15 sliced
9: green cardamom powder 1tsp
10:green food colour 1/2 tsp
11:ghee 1cup(clarified butter)
Recipe:
1: grate the lauki in cold water as it will change colour.
2: in a pan add the lauki (drain the water)and cook on high flame till the water dries.
3: once the water dries then add the milk, sugar, green cardamom powder, green colour, condensed milk mix well and wait for a boil, then reduce the flame low to medium and cook till the liquid dries, keep stirring.
4: then add the ghee and cook on high flame for 4 minutes, till the ghee comes on surface, keep stirring.
5: now add the desiccated coconut, pistachios, almonds, khoya mix well cook on high flame for 1 minute.
6: garnish it with remaining pistachios, almonds and khoya and serve hot :)
