Khajoor ka Halva
Ingerdients:
- dates 300g (deseeded & mashed)
- almonds 15 pieces (sliced)
- pistachios 30 pieces (sliced)
- khoya 1 cup
- green cardamom powder 1 ts
- honey 3 tbs
- semolina 1/2 cup (suji)
- clarified butter 1/2 cup (ghee)
- water 1 cup
Recipe:
- heat the clarified butter in a pan and add the semolina and cook it till it turns golden color on medium flame.
- once it changes color add the water, green cardamom powder, honey mix it well and add the mashed dates again mix it so the every thing becomes one and lower the flame to low to medium.
- then add the khoya and half the nuts and mix it, cover and cook for 4 to 5 min.
- after 4 to 5 min garnish it with the remaining nuts and khoya and serve hot.
