Homemade Paneer (Cheese)
Ingerdients:
- WHOLE MILK 8 CUPS.
- LEMON JUICE 1/2 CUP.
- WATER 1/2 CUP
Recipe:
- ADD THE MILK IN A PAN, AND BRING IT TO A BOIL.
- STIR FREQUENTLY, SO THAT THE MILK DOSE NOT BURN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN.
- IN A SEPRATE BOWL ADD WATER AND LEMON JUICE, MIX IT WELL.
- WHEN THE MILK COMES TO A BOIL BRING THE FLAME (LOW TO MEDIUM) AND ADD LEMON AND WATER MIX IN TO THE MILK AND STIR 2 TO 3 MINUTES.
- STRAIN THE MILK IN A CHEESE CLOTH.
- WASH THE CHEESE UNDER COLD TAP WATER TO GET THE LEMON JUICE FLAVOUR OUT AND SQUEEZE THE WATER OUT COMPLETELY.
- YOUR CHEESE IS READY, STORE IT IN AIR TIGHT BAG IN FRIDGE OR FREEZER AND USE AS REQUIRED.
