1: chicken 1 & 1/2 kg (leg & thigh put cuts on the pieces)
2: salt 1 tsp (heaped)
3: garam masala powder 1 tsp
4: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
5: turmeric 1/2 tsp
6: corainder powder 1 tbsp
7: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
8: chaat masala powder 1 tsp
9: food colour yellow 1/4 tsp
10: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
11: lemon juice 4 tbsp
12: gram flour 3 tsp
13: cornflour 2 tbsp
14: oil for deep frying
1: in a bowl add chicken, salt, garam masala powder, cumin, turmeric, corainder powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, ginger & garlic paste, lemon juice mix well and then add corn flour, garam flour coat well, cover and keep aside for 3 hours or over night.
2: i added more lemon juice 4 tbsp so the chicken gets coated well, you even use water.
3: heat oil.
4: add the chicken pieces and fry for 2 & 1/2 minutes on high flame and then change side and fry on medium flame till the chicken is tender.
5: once fried place it on paper towel to remove extra oil.
6: serve hot with Salad, Roti, Mint chutney.
