Ingredients:
For the Filling:
- 1 kg Chicken Mince
- 1 Medium Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Chilli
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Paprika Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 2 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 1 Medium Bell Pepper (deseeded & finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves
For the Sauce:
- 6 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Gherkins (chopped)
- 1 tsp Mustard Paste
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Chilli
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
To Assemble the Tacos:
- Small Taco Shells
- Lettuce Leaves
- Sliced Onion
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Recipe:
1. Prepare the Chicken Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken mince with all the ingredients listed under "Filling." Mix thoroughly to marinate the chicken. Set aside.
2. Make the Zesty Sauce:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce. Refrigerate it for later use.
3. Prepare the Taco Shells:
- To assemble the tacos, spread a thin layer of the marinated chicken mixture evenly onto the small taco shells, as shown in the video.
4. Cook the Tacos:
- Heat a frying pan and lightly brush it with oil. Place the tortilla with the chicken side down in the pan.
- Cook over medium heat for approximately 6 minutes or until it becomes crisp at the bottom.
- Flip the taco and add shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover and cook until the cheese melts.
5. Final Assembly:
- Once the cheese has melted, top the taco with sliced onion, fresh lettuce leaves, and the zesty sauce you prepared earlier.
