Ingerdients:
1: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2: 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
3: 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
4: 1/4 tsp salt
5: 10 tbsp salted butter, softened
6: 1 cup granulated sugar
7: 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
8: 2 large eggs
9: 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
10:caramels Rolls, unwrapped (as many cookies)
11:3/4 cup powdered sugar
Recipe:
1: Preheat oven to 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.
2: In a mixing bowl sieve together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, set aside.
3: In the bowl a electric mixer whip together butter, granulated sugar and light-brown sugar on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
4: Add in eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition until combine.
5: Mix in vanilla. With mixer set on low speed, slowly add in dry ingredients and mix just until combine.
6: Scoop dough out 2 tbsp at a time and roll into a ball. Press one caramel into the centre and roll again then roll in powdered sugar.
7: place baking sheet on the tray and place the balls on it DO KEEP SPACE BETWEEN EACH BALL and bake in preheated oven 11 - 13 minutes.
8: Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
9: serve hot or cold enjoy.
