Dry Roast The Whole Masala:
1: almonds 20
2: Sesame seeds 1 tbsp (or) cashew nuts 12
3: desiccated coconut 1 & 1/2 tbsp
4: sesame seeds 2 tsp
5: cumin seeds 2 tsp
For Curry:
1: oil 1/2 cup
2: bay leaves 3
3: cloves 6
4: green cardamom 6
5: onions 2 large (finely sliced)
6: chicken 1 kg
7: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp
8: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
9: turmeric 1/2 tsp
10: red chill powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
11: garam masala powder 1 tsp
12: yogurt 1/2 cup
13: cream 1/2 cup
14: green chilli 4 (sliced)
15: fresh coriander hand full
1: n a frying pan add almonds, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and dry roast on low flame till gets light golden and then grind to a powder (or) paste with a little milk or water.
2: heat oil add bay leaves, cloves, green cardamom, onions and fry till gets light golden on high flame.
3: then add the chicken and fry on high flame so the chicken gets white.
4: add ginger & garlic paste, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala powder mix and cook on high flame for 3 minutes.
5: now add the dry roasted masala mix add yogurt, water 1/2 cup mx and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and the oil separates.
6: add cream, green chilli, fresh coriander mix well.
7: serve hot with roti, naan, paratha, roghni naan.
