1: chicken 1kg (cut in 4 pieces)
2: nihari masala 2 tbs (heeped) for homemade Nihari masala powder video link click HERE)
3: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs (heaped)
4: red chilli powder 1 tsp
5: salt 1 tsp
6: onion 1 medium (sliced finely)
7: wheat flour 1 cup
8: ghee or oil 1 cup
9: ghee or oil 1/2 cup (for frying the onions)
Serve With: lemon, fresh ginger, green chilli.
1: heat ghee add ginger&garlic paste, salt, red chilli and fry for 1 minute on high flame.
2: then add the chicken pieces and fry till changes colour on high flame.
3: now add the nihari masala mix well, then add water 5 large glasses mix and wait for a boil on high flame, now bring the flame on medium and cook till the chicken in half done.
4: then remove the chicken pieces and keep aside.
5: mix the wheat flour with water and make a paste, make sure they r no lumps.
6: now add the paste in the curry use a sieve so that they are no lumps mix and keep flame on medium.
7: add the chicken pieces and simmer on low to medium till the curry gets thick.
8: heat ghee add onions and fry, then add this to the curry.
9: cook for further 5 minutes.
10: serve hot with naan, lemon, ginger, green chilli.
