For Chicken Filling:
1. 3 tbsp oil
2. 1 small onion, finely chopped
3. 1 tbsp garlic, crushed
4. 500g boneless chicken, cut into very small pieces
5. 2 tbsp vinegar
6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
7. 1 tsp salt
8. 1 tsp black pepper powder
9. 1 ½ tsp coriander powder
10. ½ tsp cumin powder
11. ¼ tsp turmeric
12. ½ tsp garam masala powder
13. 1 tsp paprika powder
14. ½ cup water
15. 1 small bell pepper, deseeded and chopped
Other Ingredients:
1. Bread slices (as many as required)
2. Dry bread crumbs
3. Eggs
4. Oil for deep frying
5. 3 tbsp milk
1. Heat Oil: In a pan, heat the oil and add the finely chopped onion. Fry on high flame until the onion becomes soft.
2. Add Garlic: Add the crushed garlic and fry with the onion for a few minutes on medium flame.
3. Cook Chicken: Add the chicken pieces and fry on high flame until the chicken changes colour.
4. Season and Simmer: Add vinegar, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, garam masala, paprika, and water. Mix well, cover, and cook on low to medium flame until the water dries up and the chicken is tender.
5. Add Bell Pepper: Mix in the chopped bell pepper and cook for a few minutes on medium flame.
6. Cool the Filling: Add chopped coriander leaves, mix well, and transfer the mixture to a plate to cool completely.
7. Prepare Egg Mixture: Beat the eggs with milk in a bowl.
8. Flatten Bread: Roll the bread slices flat using a rolling pin.
9. Cut Bread: Use a cutter to cut the bread into desired shapes.
10. Fill and Seal: Place the filling on the bread cutouts and seal the edges with water, as shown in the video.
11. Heat Oil for Frying: Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
12. Coat the Bread: Dip the filled bread pieces in the egg mixture, then roll them in dry bread crumbs.
13. Freeze (Optional): You can freeze the coated bread at this stage for later use.
14. Fry: Place the coated bread in the hot oil and fry on high flame until golden and crispy.
15. Serve: Serve hot with ketchup.
