Chicken Dil Kaleji
Ingerdients:
- chicken liver 1/2 kg
- chicken heart 1/2 kg
- tomatoes 2 large (grind to paste)
- onions 2 large (grind to paste)
- green chillies 5 (slice from the middle)
- butter 200 g
- oil 1/2 cup
- ginger & garlic paste 2 tbs
- white vinegar 4 tbs
- lemon juice 3 tbs
- fenugreek leaves 4 tbs (methi)
- crushed red chillies 1 1/2 tbs
- cumin powder 1tbs heeped
- crushed black pepper 1 tbs
- turmeric powder 1/2 ts
- coriander powder 1 tbs heeped
- salt 1 ts
- mix spices powder 1 ts (garam masala)
Recipe:
- in a bowl add the liver, heart, ginger & garlic paste, white vinegar, 3 tbs oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed black pepper, crushed red chillies, salt, turmeric powder and mix it well and cover and keep it 1/2 hour aside.
- after 1/2 hour heat oil and butter in a pan, add the onion paste in it and cook on high flame for 4 to 5 min.
- then add the marinated liver and heart in the pan and cook on high flame till all the liquid drys and the oil comes on the surface.
- then add the tomato paste, lemon juice wait for a boil and cook it on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface and no liquid is remaining.
- then add the fenugreek leaves, green chillies and mix spices, mix it well and cook on high flame for 1 min keep stirring .
- serve hot with naan or roti.
