1. Preheat your oven:

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients listed under “For Marinating the Chicken.” Mix well, ensuring the chicken pieces are evenly coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix all the ingredients under “For the Sauce” until well combined. Set aside for later.
4. Cook the Chicken:
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until the chicken changes color. Pour in 1/2 cup water, mix, cover, and cook on medium flame until the water evaporates and the chicken is fully cooked.
5. Add Vegetables:
Toss in the sliced onions and bell pepper. Stir everything together and cook on high flame for about 4 minutes. This will soften the vegetables while maintaining a slight crunch.
6. Smoke the Chicken:
Heat the coal until it’s red-hot. Place the coal in a small bowl or piece of foil, and set it on top of the chicken mixture in the pan. Drizzle a little oil over the coal, then immediately cover the pan to trap the smoke. Let it sit for a few minutes to infuse the chicken with a smoky flavor, just as shown in the video.
