For Marinated Chicken:
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 tbsp dark soya sauce
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp crushed red chilli
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Other Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp oil
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large tomato, deseeded & chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, deseeded & chopped
- Cheddar cheese (as needed)
- Mozzarella cheese (as needed)
1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for marination. Mix well and set aside for 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add the marinated chicken mixture and cook until it changes colour on high flame. Then add 1/2 cup water, cover, and cook on low to medium flame until the chicken is tender.
3. Add tomato ketchup and chilli garlic sauce to the chicken mixture. Mix well.
4. Add chopped onion, tomato, and bell pepper. Cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
5. To assemble, take a tortilla and layer it with cheddar cheese, followed by the chicken filling. Fold the tortilla.
6. Heat a grilled pan, brush a little oil, and place the filled tortilla. Warm on both sides until the cheese melts.
7. Serve hot with fries and cold drinks.
