For Filling:
1: oil 2 tbsp
2: garlic 1 tbsp (chopped)
3: onion 1 medium (chopped)
4: boneless chicken 500g (cut in very small pieces)
5: cumin powder 1 tsp
6: paprika powder 1 tsp
7: salt 1 tsp
8: red chilli powder 1 tsp
9: oregano 1/2 tsp
10: tomato paste 2 to 3 tbsp
11: water 1/2 cup
12: sweet corn 1/2 cup
13: bellpepper 1 small (cut in small pieces)
White Sauce:
1: salted butter 2 tbsp
2: plain flour 2 tbsp
3: milk 1 cup
4: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
5: salt 1 tsp
6: mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
Other Ingredients:
1: bread slices 12 (cut sides)
2: mozzarella cheese 460g
3: oregano 1 tsp
4: crushed red chilli to your taste
NOTE: Preheat Oven 350F, 180C, Gas Mark 4.
1: for chicken filling: heat oil add garlic, onion and fry till gets soft on medium flame.
2: add chicken pieces and fry till the chicken changes colour on high flame.
3: then add cumin powder, paprika powder, salt, red chilli powder, oregano, tomato paste mix add water cover and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.
4: add sweet corn, bell pepper mix well and keep aside.
5: to make white sauce: melt butter add plain flour and cook on low to medium flame for a minute add milk slowly and whisk along so no lumps are formed.
6: add black pepper powder, salt and keep whisking till the mixture starts to get thick.
7: add mozzarella cheese mix till melts and keep aside.
8: take a baking tray and add white sauce place the bread slices, transfer the chicken filling and spread evenly, white sauce and spread, mozzarella cheese, oregano, crushed red chilli, mozzarella cheese, oregano, crushed red chilli transfer the tray in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
9: serve hot and enjoy.
