1: beef 1/2 kg (cut in stripes)
2: mustard oil 200 ml
3: raw papaya 4 tbs (grind to paste)
4: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbs
5: yogurt thick 1 cup
6: fried onions 1 cup(check the link on the video)
7: coriander powder 1 ts (heeped)
8: salt 1 ts
9: gram masala powder 1/2 ts (mix spices)
10:cumin powder 1 ts (zeera)
11:turmeric powder 1/2 ts (heldi)
12:crushed red chillie 1 tbs
13:mace powder 1/2 ts
14:nutmeg powder 1/2 ts
15:red chillie powder 1/2 ts
16:crushed black pepper 1ts
17: onion 2 large (cut round)
18:skewer
19:coal for the bbq effect (instant burn)
1: grind the fried onions and the yogurt to a paste and keep aside.
2: in a bowl add beef, fried onion & yogurt paste, raw papaya, ginger & garlic paste, red chillie powder, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder, crushed red chillie, coriander powder, gram masala powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, mace powder, salt, mustard oil and mix well and cover and keep in the fridge over night.
3: then add the beef strips on the skewer.
4: in a pan add 4 to 5 tbs of oil and add the skewers in it keep changing the sides cover and cook on low to medium till cooked completely and all the water dries.
5: then place a piece of foil in the middle of the onions and add the hot coal in it, drizzle a little oil on it cover it , this will give a bbq effect to the onions, keep aside.
6: once the beef is ready take it of the skewers and put it in the pan you fried it, place a piece of foil and the hot coal on it drizzle oil and cover it this will give a bbq effect to the beef as well. ( if u want u can serve it on the skewer but that is how i like to serve).
7: then on a platter spread the onion rings and in the middle the beef pieces, garnish it with lemon vegs and serve hot with naan, enjoy :)
