1: oil 1/2 cup
2: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp
3: asafoetida 1/4 tsp
4: onions 2 medium (finely sliced)
5: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
6: tomatoes 3 large (sliced)
7: green chilli 4 (chopped)
8: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tbsp
9: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
10: turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
11: cumin powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
12: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
13: potatoes 1kg (cut in cubes)
14: okra 1kg (fried)
15: garam masala powder 1 tsp
16: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
17: green chilli 3 (chopped)
1: heat oil add cumin seeds, asafoetida, onions, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till gets golden.
2: now add tomatoes, green chilli, coriander powder, salt, turmeric, cumin powder, salt, red chill powder, water 1 cup mix and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.
3: add the potatoes mix and cook on high flame for 2 minuets and then add water 1/2 cup mix and cover, cook on medium flame till the potatoes are tender.
4: then add the okra, garam masala powder, dry fenugreek leaves, green chilli cover and simmer on low flame for 8 minutes.
5: serve hot with Roti, Naan, Salad.
