Marinate Chicken:
1: chicken breast 4 large (cut in two pieces)
2: salt 1/2 tsp
3: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
4: lemon juice 3 tbsp
For Dipping:
1: eggs 2
For Rolling:
1: plain flour 2 cups
For Coating:
1: dry bread crumbs 2 cups
2: black pepper powder 1 tsp
3: crushed red chilli 2 tsp
4: garlic powder 1/2 tsp
5: oregano 1 tsp
6: salt 1 tsp
For Sandwich:
1: baguette 1 large
2: pizza sauce readymade or check the link in the video for homemade 1 cup
3: mozzarella cheese slices 16 (or grated 2 cups)
4: black olives 15 (sliced)
For Garnishing The Baguette:
1: salted butter 50g (melted)
2: parmesan cheese 4 tbsp
3: garlic powder 1/2 tsp
4: oregano 1 tsp
1: in a bowl add chicken, red chilli, salt, lemon juice mix well, cover and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes.
2: in a bowl add bread crumbs, crushed red chilli, garlic powder, salt, black pepper powder, oregano mix well.
3: beat the eggs.
4: sieve the plain flour and keep in a separate bowl.
5: heat oil for shallow frying.
6: now take chicken and add in the plain flour then egg and then in the bread crumbs, keep aside.
7: add the coated chicken in hot oil and fry till gets golden, remove and keep on paper towel.
8: preheat oven 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.
9: mix melted butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano.
10: to assemble the sandwich: cut the baguette from the middle, spread the pizza sauce on both sides, mozzarella cheese, chicken pieces, mozzarella cheese, black olives and place the top part of the baguette.
11: spread the butter mixture on the top of the baguette and cut in half.
12: cover it with the foil paper, place it on the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes.
13: serve hot with pizza sauce and cold drink.
