1: moli 800g (long white radish)
2: ginger 2 & 1/2 inch piece
3: gram flour 4 tbsp
4: oil 3 tbsp
5: cumin seeds 1 tsp
6: ajwain 1/2 tsp (carom seeds)
7: green chilli 4 (chopped)
8: cumin powder 4 tsp
9: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
10: red chilli powder 1 tsp
11: mango powder 1 tsp
12: turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
13: coriander powder 2 tsp
14: fresh coriander 4 tbsp
1: peel the moli, ginger and then grate it, now place it in a muslin cloth and squeeze the water out completely.
2: in a frying pan add the gram flour and dry roast it till gets golden on medium flame and a nice aroma can be smelled and then keep aside.
3: heat oil add cumin seeds, carom seeds, green chilli and fry on medium flame.
4: then add the moli, ginger, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, mango powder mix well on medium flame.
5: now add fresh coriander mix it and add the roasted gram flour and mix well, place it in a plate to cool.
6: take dough and make small balls, roll it, spread a little ghee or oil add the filling and fold the top as shown n the video.
7: heat a fry pan.
8: roll the filled dough and place it on the hot frying pan, cook one side, flip it add ghee or oil and then fry till golden and crisp on both sides.
9: serve hot with chutney, achar.
