1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 to 16 pieces)
2: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
3: coriander seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted and crushed)
4: garam masala powder 1 tsp
5: crushed red chilli 2 tsp
6: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
7: salt 1 tsp
8: turmeric 1/2 tsp
9: lemon juice 3 tbsp
10: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp (heaped)
11: thick greek yogurt 1 cup
12: unsalted butter 100g
13: ginger 1inch piece (jullien)
14: bullet green chilli 4 (cut in half)
15: oil 1/3 cup
1: in a bowl add chicken, yogurt, ginger & garlic paste, cumin, coriander, garam masala powder, crushed red chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric, lemon juice, salt mix well and keep it aside for 2 to 3 hours.
2: heat oil add the chicken and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.
3: then add butter, ginger, green chilli mix and cook on high flame till the butter melts.
4: serve hot with Naan or Tandoori Roti.
