1: plain flour 1 cup (i used 250ml)
2: unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup
3: baking soda 1 tsp
4: salted butter 113g
5: light packed brown sugar 3/4 cup
6: bananas 3 large (mashed)
7: vanilla essences 1 tbsp
8: milk 1/2 cup mixed with 2 tbsp vinegar (butter milk)
9: eegs 2
10: semi sweet chocolate chips 1 cup
NOTE: preheat oven 20 minutes before at 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.
1: in a bowl sieve plain flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and then mix it well with a spoon.
2: in a bowl add sugar, butter and beat till gets thick and changes colour.
3: add the mashed bananas to the butter mixture, vanilla essences, butter milk beat till all the ingredients get combined.
4: now add one egg at a time and beat well.
5: add the dry ingredients and beat again till gets combined.
6: then add the semi sweet chocolate chips and mix it.
7: grease the loaf tin with butter and add the cocoa powder and rotate the tin so it gets coated with and the remove the extra cocoa powder.
8: transfer the batter in the loaf tin and fill it 3/4, add a few more chocolate chips on the batter and if any remaining batter it can be used for making cupcakes.
9: place the tin on the middle rack in the oven and bake for 60 minutes or till done.
10: once baked leave to cool completely and then cut in slices.
