1: mutton mince 1/2 kg
2: split green lentil 1 cup (with skin washed and soaked in water for 2 to 3 hours)
3: rice 1/2 kg (washed and soaked in water for 2 to 3 hours)
4: onions 2 large (finely sliced)
5: tomatoes 2 medium (sliced)
6: spinach 2 cups (canned)
7: thick greek yogurt 1/2 cup
8: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
9: garam masala powder 1 tsp
10: coriander powder 1 tbsp
11: salt 1 tbsp
12: turmeric 1/2 tsp
13: red chilli powder 1 tbsp
14: soya leaves 2 tbsp
15: ghee or oil 1 cup
16: ginger 1 inch (finely sliced)
17: green chilli 4 (sliced)

1: heat ghee 3/4 cup add onions and fry till golden, on high flame (leave half for later).
2: now add ginger & garlic paste, mince, tomatoes, coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and cook on high flame till the ghee comes on surface and tomatoes get cooked.
3: add spinach, yogurt mix and cook on medium to high flame, till the ghee comes on surface.
4: then add the soaked daal, rice, water 6 cups mix cover and cook on low to medium flame till the daal & rice is cooked.
5: now heat the remaining ghee add the remaining onions and fry till golden, on high flame, then add a little ginger, green chilli, add this on the khichda.
6: then add soya, garam masala powder mix.
7: serve hot with fresh ginger, green chilli & lemon.
