1: rice 1 kg
2: bellpeppers 3 small (any colour)
3: water 1 & 1/2 liter
4: oil 200ml
5: unsalted butter 125g
6: knor chicken cubes 2
7: green chilli 6 (chopped)
8: salt 1 & 1/2 tbsp (or to your taste)
9: green cardamom 8
10: cloves 8
11: yellow food colour 1/4 tsp
12: chicken popcorn (check the link in the video for homemade)
1: in a large pot add bell peppers, chicken cubes, green chilli, water salt, oil, butter, cloves, green cardamom wait for a boil on high flame.
2: wash the rice.
3: once it boils add the washed rice and cook on high flame till the water dries, cover the lid with a tea towel and simmer for 15 minutes on low flame.
4: now add the colour and cover and leave it for 10 minutes, now mx and serve.
5: serve hot with chicken popcorn, salad, sweet chilli garlic sauce or mayo.
