1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 16 pieces)
2: onions 1 large (finely chopped)
3: yogurt 1 cup
4: tomatoes fresh 2 large or 1 can 400g
5: green chilli 3
6: turmeric 1/2 ts
7: coriander powder 1 tbs
8: salt 1ts
9: garam masala powder 1 ts
10:red chilli powder 1 ts
11:dried fenugreek leaves 4 tbs
12:whole red chilli 8
13:ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs
14:oil 1/2 cup
1: heat oil in a pan add the whole red chilli, onions, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till light golden.
2: then add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.
3: add the chicken pieces and cook it till the colour changes on high flame.
4: then add the yogurt mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then lower the flame to low to medium and cook till the chicken is completely cooked and the oil comes on the surface.
5: now add the green chilli, fenugreek leaves, garam masala mix and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.
6: serve hot with roti or naan.
