For Marinating Chicken:
1: chicken 1 kg (12 pieces)
2: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
3: salt 1 tsp
4: red chilli powder 1 tsp
5: garam masala powder 1 tsp
6: lemon juice 3 tbsp
7: orange food colour 1/4 tsp
For Curry:
1: tomatoes 5 (grind to a paste)
2: almonds 20 (crushed)
3: cream 1 cup
4: butter 50g
5: oil 1/4 cup
6: green chilli 4
7: fresh mint 4 tbsp
8: coal
1: marinate the chicken with all the ingredients under marination, mix well and leave it for 1 hour.
2: heat oil & butter add the marinated chicken and fry it till changes colour, on high flame.
3: now add the tomatoes mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then cook on medium flame covered till the chicken is done and the oil comes on the surface.
4: then cream, green chilli, mint mix and simmer for 10 minutes on low flame.
5: heat the coal and place it in the curry in a bowl or foil, add oil and cover till the smoke settles.
6: serve hot with roti, naan.
