For Marination:
- 400g boneless chicken
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp cream
- 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp crushed red chilli
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
- 1 tsp coriander powder
Other Ingredients:
- Eggs (as many as required, beaten with a pinch of salt and pepper)
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Mint chutney
- Tomatoes
- Cucumber
- Cheese slices
- Thick bread slices
- Lettuce
1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for marination and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. Heat a frying pan and cook the marinated chicken on low to medium flame until tender. Add water if needed.
3. Beat eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
4. Trim the sides of the bread slices.
5. Warm a grill pan, brush with butter or oil, and toast the bread slices on both sides.
6. To assemble the sandwich, layer three bread slices: spread mayonnaise on the first slice, ketchup on the second, and mint chutney on the third.
7. Place the cooked chicken on the mayonnaise slice, followed by tomato and cucumber slices. Then, place the ketchup slice upside down, add a little more mayonnaise, lettuce, a cheese slice, a fried egg, and finally, cover with the third bread slice. Cut the sandwich in half.
8. Serve hot with fries, ketchup, and cold drinks.
