For Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg
2: crushed black pepper 1 tsp
3: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
4: corainder powder 2 tsp
5: cumin powder 2 tsp
6: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
7: turmeric 1 tsp
8: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
9: yogurt 1 cup
For Cooking:
1: oil 1/2 cup
2: cumin seeds 2 tsp
3: green chilli 3 (finely chopped)
4: onions 3 large (grind)
5: tomatoes 3 large (grind)
6: water 1/2 cup
7: ginger 2 inch piece (Julian cut)
8: green chilli 3
9: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
10: fried onions 1/2 cup
11: fresh coriander hand full
1: in a bowl add all ingredients under marination mix well and keep aside for 1 hour.
2: heat oil add cumin seeds, green chilli, onion and fry on high flame till gets golden.
3: add the marinated chicken and fry on high flame for 4 minutes.
4: now add the tomatoes and cook on hgh flame for 2 minutes.
5: then add water mix and cook on medum flame till the chicken is tender and the oil seperates.
6: now add ginger, green chilli, fenugreek leaves, fried onions, fresh corainder mix well.
7: serve hot with roti, naan, paratha.
