For Batter:
1: garam flour 1 cup
2: plain flour 2 tbsp
3: corn flour 1/4 cup
4: red food colour 1/4 tsp (heaped)
5: asafoetida 1/2 tsp
6: chaat masala powder 1 tsp
7: red chilli powder 1 tsp
8: salt 1/2 tsp
9: carom seeds 1 tsp
10: water as much required (for a medium batter)
Other Ingredients:
1: boneless chicken 1 kg (cut in strips)
2: oil for frying
1: in a bowl add all ingredients under batter mix well.
2: add the chicken strips in the batter mix mix well and keep aside for 2 hours.
3: heat oil.
4: add the battered chicken in the hot oil and then deep fry on medium to high flame till gets crisp, once fried place on paper towel to remove extra oil.
5: serve hot with onion rings, lemon, sprinkle chaat masala powder.
