For Chicken Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg
2: lemon juice 4 tbsp
3: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
4: red chilli powder 1 tsp
5: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
6: food colour orange 1/2 tsp
For Making Curry:
1: oil 5 tbsp
2: green cardamom 3
3: cloves 6
4: onions 3 large
5: cashew nuts (or) almonds 15
6: green chilli 3
7: tomatoes 4 large
To Cook Chicken:
1: oil 3 tbsp
2: green cardamom 4
3: cloves 6
4: marinated chicken
Other Ingredients:
1: oil 1/3 cup (or) more
2: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp
3: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
4: coriander powder 2 tsp
5: garam masala powder 1 tsp
6: chat masala powder 1 tsp
7: yogurt 1/2 cup
8: milk 1/2 cup
9: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
10: cream 1/2 cup
11: salt 1 tsp
12: green chilli 3
13: coal to smoke the curry
1: marinate chicken with all ingredients under marination, mix well and leave it for 1 hour.
2: heat oil 5 tbsp add green cardamom, cloves, onions and fry till gets soft on high flame.
3: then add green, cashew nuts, tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes get soft, then leave it to cool and grind it to a smooth paste.
4: now heat oil 3 tbsp add green cardamom, cloves, marinated chicken and fry on high flame till the chicken changes colour.
5: then add water 1 cup or glass and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium till the chicken it tender.
6: heat oil 1/3 cup or to your choice, ginger & garlic paste fry it for 2 minutes, on high flame.
7: then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chat masala, yogurt, milk mix well and wait for a boil on medium flame.
8: now add the grinned paste mix well cover and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on surface.
9: then add fenugreek leaves, cream, salt mix and add the cooked chicken mix well and simmer for 8 minutes on low flame.
10: heat the coals.
11: add green chilli and place the coal in the curry as shown in the video.
12: serve hot with Naan.
