For Jamun:
1: large bread slices 16 (cut the sides)
2: dry milk powder 3 tbs
3: baking soda 1/4 tsp
4: ghee 1 tbs
5: milk 3/4 cup
Sugar Syrup:
1: sugar 2 cups
2: water 2 & 1/2 cups
3: green cardamom powder 1 tsp
4: kewra water 2 tbs
For Frying :
1: oil
2: almonds 10 & pistachio 15 (crushed for garnishing)
1: in a pan add water, sugar, kewra water, green cardamom powder and cook till the sugar dissolves on high flame, then lower the flame to low and cook for 7 to 8 minutes and close the flame.
2: in a bowl add the bread slices, milk and leave it for a minute, then mash the bread well add baking powder, milk powder, ghee and mix well cover and leave it for 5 minutes.
3: now grease your hands and make small balls, making sure they are no cracks( do not press hard or the end result of the jamun will be hard in the middle).
4: heat oil in add the balls and fry till golden on medium flame, keep paper towel on a plate keep fried jamun on them.
5: place the jamun in the sugar syrup it needs to be hot so that they soak in it.
6: serve in a dish garnish it with crushed nuts.
7: serve hot or warm.
