Ingerdients:
1: mince 1/2 kg(beef)
2: fried onions 1/2 cup
3: yogurt 1cup
4: raw papaya paste(2tbs heaped)
5: oil 1/2 cup
6: coal 1 piece
7: allspices powder 1 tsp
8: salt 1 tsp
9: cinnamon stick 1 piece
10: cloves 6 pieces
11: green cardamom 5 pieces
12: dry whole red chilli 12 pieces
13: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
14: nutmeg 1/4 tsp
15: mace 1/4 tsp
16: desiccated coconut1tbs
17: poppy seeds 1tbs
18: ginger & garlic paste 1tbs
Recipe:
1: in a bowl add mince, ginger & garlic paste, raw papaya mix well cover and keep in the fridge for 1/2 hour.
2: in a pan dry roast poppy seeds, cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom, whole red chilli, coconut till changes colour to golden, remove and grind to a powder.
3: in a pan heat oil add the grinded spices, salt, water 1/4 cup cook on high flame till the water dries.
4: now add the mince, nutmeg, mace, red chilli powder, yogurt mix well, cover and cook on low to medium till the water dries and oil comes on surface.
5: once the oil comes on the surface add fried onions, all spices powder mix well, and place a piece of foil on the mince add the hot coal, spoon oil on the hot coal, and cover, till the smoke settles.
6: serve hot with onion rings, green chilli, lemon wedges.
