Ingerdients:
1: salmon fillets 600g (boneless)
2: yogurt 2tbs (thick)
3: distilled white vinegar 2tbs
4: salt 1/2 tsp
5: lemon juice 1 tbs
6: egg 1
7: turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
8: red Chile powder 1 tsp
9: ajwain 1 tsp(carom seeds)
11: rice flour 2 tbs
12: gram flour 4 tbs
13: oil to fry
15: lemon juice 2 tbs
Recipe:
1: in a bowl add ginger & garlic paste, lemon juice, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt mix well and add the fish pieces marinate cover and keep for 15 minutes.
2: in a separate bowl crush the carom seeds with the help of your palm and add it in the bowl, rice flour, gram flour, egg, yogurt, vinegar( it is optional if you want can add crushed red chilli 1/2 tsp, salt 1/2 tsp, yellow food colour 1/4 tsp)mix well to make the batter and add water slowly to make a medium batter.
3: heat the oil and dip the fish in the batter, fry the fish pieces for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame, till golden and crisp.
4: once fried place them on paper towel to drain the extra oil, sprinkle chaat masala and lemon juice.
5: serve hot with onion rings, lemon wedges and green chilli, enjoy :)
