1: potatoes 600g (boiled and mashed)
2: rice flour 3 tsp
3: salt 1 tsp
4: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted and crushed)
5: crushed red chilli 1 tsp
6: crushed black pepper 1 tsp
7: egg 1
8: oil for frying
For Serving:
1: thick yogurt 1 kg
2: sweet imli (tamarind) chutney (check the link in the video)
3: sugar 2 tbsp
5: salt 1/2 tsp
6: red chilli powder
7: milk 1/2 cup
8: papdi
9: fresh coriander for garnishing
1: in a bowl add the mashed potatoes, rice flour, cumin, salt, crushed black pepper, crushed red chilli mix well.
2: make balls then slightly flatten them make a hole.
3: beat the egg and roll the potato patties in it.
4: heat oil and fry till golden on both sides, place them on paper towel to remove extra oil.
5: to serve: mix well yogurt, milk, sugar, salt.
9: place half yogurt mixture in a dish place the potato baray, remaining yogurt, imli chutney, coriander, papadi, chaat masala, red chilli.
10:serve and enjoy.
