1: potatoes 1/2 kg (peeled, boiled & mashed)
2: salt 1 tsp
3: black pepper powder 1 tsp
4: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
5: lemon juice 2 tbsp
6: fresh coriander 3 tbsp
7: bullet green chilli 3 (finely chopped)
For Filling:
1: chicken breast 2 medium (cut in very small pieces)
2: chicken tikka masala 2 tbsp (i used laziza brand)
3: onion 1 small (finely chopped)
4: thick greek yogurt 3 tbsp
5: Cheddar cheese 4 tbsp (grated)
6: ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp
For Coating:
1: eggs 2
2: dry bread crumbs 1 cup
3: vermicelli 1/2 cup
4: oil for frying
1: for filling: in a pan heat oil add chicken, yogurt, chicken tikka masala, ginger & garlic paste cook on high flame, as you see the chicken leaves water add the onion, mix and cook till the chicken is cooked and oil oozes.
2: now add the cheese and mix it well, place the filling in a plate to cool.
3: in a bowl add the mashed potatoes, fresh coriander, green chilli, salt, cumin, lemon juice, black pepper powder mix well.
4: beat the eegs, mix the bread crumbs, vermicelli.
5: heat oil.
6: grease your palms, take the potato mixture a size of a tennis ball flatten it add the filling, cover it filling dip it in the egg, roll it in the bread crumb mixture and fry till golden on both sides, on high flame.
7: serve with chutney or ketchup.
